A PANOPLY OF PHOTOGRAPHS

So many of them

posted on our refrigerator —

snap shots, some with curled edges

hung up there with various little magnets

which keep portions of our history

from falling to the kitchen floor —

reminders of the past —

many of friends who long ago or recently

left our troubled world too soon.

Those pictures aren’t consulted every day

but  are pointed to

when certain friends come by

and show an interest in this display.

We are most pleased to share

these connections to our past.

And some of those who look today

may become looked at tomorrow —

will join our panoply of photographs

attached to doors we open every day.
