If you depend on pills to see you through
and that’s what many people do
have you had a problem of accessing —
a problem that is most distressing?

Those plastic bottle caps are often hard to turn  —
to do it right you have to learn.
They do not screw and unscrew
like they used to do.

And if your hands are getting old
their grips on lids that once undid
now often fail to get the caps undone —
sometimes you want to get a gun.

It’s hard enough
to climb the mountain of your latter years —
You don’t need any more frustrations
to compound your aging situation .

When you can’t access those plastic bottles
containing what you need  to run full  throttle
then what remains of you
will surely be unhappy ‘til the end.
