My dear
another year is almost here
and I have little fear.

The little fear I have
is truly little
compared to many fears
that many have
about their situations.

I’m in the USA
and in the state of Florida.

I’m well fed – and love my wife
and my recliner.

Naps are a portion of our dailyness
and have about them a certain sweetness.

No doubt we’re fading
and face another year
with hopes that the unfolding
will hold but little that’s distressing.

Where it will go from here
nobody knows.

But there are those who care
and they will make a difference.

And they will care no matter what.
