TWILIGHT TIME

At first we saw
small patches of the sun light
shine upon the pasture.
And they slowly moved
toward  distant trees
which they climbed with ease
to reach their very top.
And then it was the clouds
that took the orange rays
and turned them pink.
We stayed
until the sky turned gray
and began
to welcome stars.
